AMERICAN BULLY CLASSES: AMERICAN BULLY KENNEL CLUB (ABKC)
The American Bully breed became one of the quickest developing new breeds originally in 2014 and it has remained in the Top 5 every year since. In 2018, the American Bully was the fastest growing new breed and hasn't given any indications of slowing down since. The breed is on track to complete 2019 in similar fashion. So why are so many people, all over the world falling in love with the American Bully breed?
Even with it's explosive growth and expansion into new countries and territories, there is still much confusion about the breed, it's make up, personality and temperament accompanied by many misconceptions.
Inaccurate data online made worse by poorly educated media reports have facilitated further misconceptions in regards to the breed. There are some who still confuse the American Bully breed with it's cousin the American Pit Bull Terrier. But both are distinct and separate breeds each recognized by several respected registries as such.
The American Bully is a companion breed exhibiting confidence, a zest for life, sense of humor, and fun personalities accompanied with an exuberant will to please both their owners and families. This makes the American Bully an excellent family companion.
Despite the American Bully’s fierce and powerful appearance their demeanor is gentle and the breed is notorious for being great with kids. They are friendly with strangers, other dogs, and even other animals. Human or dog aggression, extreme shyness or viciousness is uncharacteristic of the American Bully and is highly undesirable.
BREED STANDARD (ORIGINAL)
It is important to note the ABKC got rid of the extreme class. So there are currently 4 Classes
ABKC AMERICAN CLASSES 2014-PRESENT
This is an amendment to the basic standard which a Pocket Bully is determined by its adult height.
Males under 17″ and no less than 14″ at the withers. Females under 16″ and no less than 13″ at the withers.
The American Bully should give the impression of great strength for it’s size. It is a compact and medium/large size dog with a muscular body and blocky head. The American Bully should have the appearance of heavy bone structure with a bulky build and look.
Males 17 inches — 20 inches (43 cm — 51 cm) at the withers. Females 16 inches — 19 inches (40 cm — 48 cm) at the withers.
This is an amendment to the basic standard. A Classic Bully is determined by it’s body structure and build. Both sex dogs with lighter body frames and less overall body mass, but still exibiting “bully” traits.
Classic Bully variety is simply an American Bully dog having lighter body frames (lighter bone) and less overall body mass (less substance) than the Standard American Bully. Aside from this difference, the Classic Bully variety follows the same standard as the Standard American Bully.
This is an amendment to the basic standard, determined by it’s adult height. It is important to note that the XL Bully variety is simply taller than the Standard American Bully. XL dogs share the same build, body type and breed type as the Standard American Bully.
Males over 20″-23″ at the withers. Females over 19″-22″ at the withers.
HOME OF THE EXTREME BUILD POCKET AMERICAN BULLY
Initially from Houston, Texas, Venomline (formerly Texas Size Bullies) is now located in sunny South Florida.
Venomline canines have been highlighted in Rolling Stone Magazine, BULLY KING Magazine, Bully Girl Magazine, in Music Videos and on TV (NBC, Barcroft Animals)
Venomline is known for producing some of the thickest dogs in the world, without sacrificing conformation or health. Venomline's pocket bullies are known for having massive heads, dense bone, broad chests, wide shoulders, short muzzles, and being packed rock solid with muscle on short & compact frames.
They are different than most kennels in the fact that they do not use a traditional kennel set up. Their dogs sleep in beds and are part of their family, not kept locked up in kennels all day. Venomline prides themselves in producing dogs with “wow” factor along with an excellent temperament. Unlike many of the "extreme" type American Bullies today, Venomline dogs display impressive athleticism despite the heavy muscle/bone they carry. Their belief that a dog that cannot run, jump or be active isn't a dog, it's a toy.
Venomline dogs are both DNA & Health Tested, all puppies come with health certificates from a licensed veterinarian, ABKC registration paperwork at a minimum, as well as being up to date on all shots & de-worming. In addition to this, Venomline provides a health guarantee for their customers that covers any genetic issues.
Venomline Studs are some of the most sought after Studs in the world. The demand for offspring off of Venomline Studs adds to the value of their Stud Service and helps their cutomers focus on the litter, not worrying about sales. This is just one of the many reasons, top breeding programs and new breeders alike choose Venomline Studs. The pocket bully breeder ships semen (Stud Service) worldwide.
View our World Class Studs. We are also experienced and familiar with the import process and regulations for shipping semen to any country.
Venomline (South Florida) is proud to announce the opening of our 2nd location-Venomline Southlocated in North Carolina.
What separates Venomline from many other breeders is thefemalesused in their breeding program. Any breeder can use a top Stud, but Venomline knows that it takes both a Top level Stud and a Top Level bitch to produce top quality litters on a consistent basis.
Females are integral to the success of any breeding program. Without using top quality female to match a Top Stud, litters will more than likely end up being a watered down version of what was initially hoped for. Knowing this, Venomline’s focus for the past 7 years has been primarily on producing the best possible Pocket Females to match theirTop Tier Studs. Foundation Females that are linebred to produce.
Venomline's litters are usually sold out by the time that the pups are born and most litters are reserved in advance. If you are interested in a purchasing a puppy, check out their available pups for sale. If they do not have any listed for sale, the best way is to go about it is to reserve a pick off of an upcoming breeding.

HOW TO TREAT ITCHY SKIN, BUMPS AND HOT SPOTS CAUSED BY BACTERIAL SKIN INFECTIONS
1. VISIT YOUR VET FOR A SKIN SCRAPE
Generally your vet will prescribe antibiotics to treat fungal and bacterial infections
Many dog breeds are likely to get skin infections, hot spots, red, itchy and irritated skin. Many of the bully breeds are especially susceptible to …
ANTIBIOTICS MAY NOT WORK
Many dogs, especially the bully breeds have developed resistance to methicillin. At the very same time, methicillin resistant bacteria has been increasingly found in recurring skin issues. Meaning, some bacterial skin infections may not respond to antibiotics.
2. WASH 3X WEEKLY USING A 4% CHLORHEXIDINE SHAMPOO
We use Curaseb. Lather up your bull and scrub into coat, especially affected areas. Let it marinate. This is the main mistake made when bathing with medicated shampoo, many use it and rinse it off within a couple minutes.
Let it soak into the skin and for the medication activate. Drink a beer, have a smoke, go yell at your neighbors kids.. do whatever you want, but let it sit and soak in for at least 10 minutes.
AFTER 10 MINUTES, RINSE OFF MEDICATED SHAMPOO
Rinse medication off of your American Bully, Pit Bull, Bulldog or related breed dog/puppy with water.
DRY OFF WITH TOWEL
No shit right? Unfortunately, this is the internet and people do dumb shit. We have to mention it. Be careful not to over dry.
3. FOLLOW WASH WITH ANTISEPTIC & ANTI-FUNGAL MEDICATED SPRAY
After drying off your dog, follow with an antiseptic and anti-fungal medicated spray. PetMD on Amazon works really well. Spray problem areas. Be generous.
GET RID OF ANY ON ALL PARASITES
Your dog should already be on flea & tick prevention. If they are not, ask your vet about starting them on prevention. In addition to protection from fleas and ticks, recent studies have shown effectiveness with skin conditions as well.
4. START YOUR DOG ON NEXGARD OR BRAVECTO
Still not finding relief? Add Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar to your dogs water or mix 50/50 solution (that’s half water, half Apple Cider Vinegar) into a spray bottle and spray onto your dog.
5. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
BENEFITS OF APPLE CIDER VINEGAR FOR DOGS
A NATURAL FLEA KILLER
Apple cider vinegar is anatural flea and tick repellent. At one point or another, you'll likely have to deal with your dog getting fleas. The pests exist everywhere, even in climates you wouldn't expect. Many pet parents don't love the idea of a monthly chemically based prevention medicine, but obviously still want Fido to be flea and tick free. Here's where ACV comes in.
Spraying your dog with a 50/50 solution of ACV and water before they go outside is an effective way to prevent fleas and ticks from making landfall on your dog's fur.
Additionally, in many parts of the country, you may need extra protection during flea and tick season. ACV keeps the pH levels in the dog's blood slightly acidic which fleas detest. Therefore, dog owners have found that adding 2 tablespoons of ACV to their pet's food or water does the trick!
RELIEVING ITCHY SKIN WITH APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
If you have a dog who can't seem to find relief from itchy skin, ACV may be able to help. Apple cider vinegar ACV can help soothe and relieve rashes caused by yeast. Furthermore, apple cider vinegar has the ability to prevent the spread of yeast and prevent yeast infections from developing.
We use Bragg’s Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar

Common canine allergies that produce skin inflammation are typically flea, environmental (mold, pollen, grass) or food allergies. Telltale signs that a dog is suffering a skin allergy include:
Constant scratching and biting at “hot spots” (sometimes accompanied by sneezing, coughing and runny nose)
Providing extensive support to the optimal functioning of a dog’s digestive system are certain beneficial bacteria necessary for preventing “bad” bacteria from proliferating. When an imbalance of “good” and “bad” bacteria exists in the canine intestines and stomach, dogs suffer can suffer from a wide variety of illnesses, from chronic ear infections and accelerated tooth decay to irritable bowel syndrome and painful skin allergies.
Probiotics offer effective, gentle relief for dogs suffering skin allergies by restoring balance to bacteria levels in the GI tract which can directly and significantly improve immune system functioning.
